Minister to Children and Families

Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh is seeking a Part-time Minister to Children and Families. We are a growing congregation in the Garner area, a rapidly growing suburb of Raleigh. Our mission is to Love God, Grow Disciples, and Serve Others. We are affiliated with NC Baptists and the SBC. Our average worship attendance is 165. Principal Functions : Provide leadership in Childhood Ministry (Birth through Fifth Grade) that seeks to reach children and partner with parents to nurture children’s faith for Christ and the Church. Assist the church in establishing vision and goals for the faith education of the church as it relates to preschoolers and children. Oversee coordination and communication to ensure a cohesive ministry by church-elected leaders.

Criteria (include but are not limited to):
-A committed Christian dedicated to facilitating spiritual growth and maturity in self and others.
-A degree in Christian Education or related field preferred.
-Experience in Children’s Christian Ministry preferred.

Position Hours: This is a part-time 20 hour per week position.

Composition: $2,000 per month plus appropriate benefits as part-time staff.
