Worship Leader Part Time

Vision Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC seeks a Part Time Worship Leader.

Position Overview:   The Worship Leader is directly responsible for leading and overseeing all Vision worship teams and services. Principal Responsibilities of Worship Leader Oversee and lead weekly worship experiences and nights of worship (once a quarter) Interview, train, lead, and schedule volunteers for all worship gatherings (i.e. A/V/L, Praise Band, etc.) Oversee all worship teams, including Vision Student worship team. Oversee Planning Center - schedule worship services and volunteers at least three weeks in advance Oversee ProPresenter - updating lyrics, backgrounds, looks, message notes, videos, etc. Oversee and lead weekly worship team rehearsals. Oversee A/V/L teams Oversee maintenance and acquisition of A/V/L equipment Purchase and implement multitracks Oversee stage design Plan and budget for worship ministry Responsible for obtaining and maintaining correct licensure (CCLI, video licensing, etc.) Be active in a Life Group.  Attend ongoing ministry trainings and meetings on a consistent basis.
Personal Qualifications: Be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior Exemplary Christian character Complete and pass a background check Active church member (membership of this church is expected) Job Skills Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in playing guitar and/or piano preferred.
