Youth Minister - Part Time

Maple Springs Baptist Church in Louisburg, North Carolina is seeking a part time youth pastor to lead our 6th - 12th grade student ministry. This individual shall offer spiritual leadership, support, guidance, and encouragement to our youth and their families. They will also serve as the assistant pastor and will be asked to officiate funerals, weddings, and preach in the absence of the senior pastor. Finally, they will demonstrate sound Biblical theology and teaching conservative Biblical values. The job responsibilities will require 10-15 hours per week. Church Information Maple Springs Baptist Church in Louisburg was founded in 1773. We are located 20 miles from Wake Forest and 25 miles from Raleigh. The last 10 years have seen exponential growth with an average Sunday attendance of 150-170. Maple Springs affiliates with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Tar River Baptist Association. Our church is also very mission’s minded and we currently support 15 individual missionaries or mission endeavors. Requirements A mature believer in Jesus Christ who affirms to the Baptist Faith and Message Fits the Biblical qualifications for a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3 Organized individual who has personal attributes that enable him to work effectively as a member of a team headed by the Senior Pastor Youth pastor and family must become members of Maple Springs Baptist Church Ordination is not required, but the candidate should be willing to seek ordination while on staff at Maple Springs High School Diploma or GED (Biblical college or seminary preferred, but not required) Must submit to a full background check Salary Information $15,000 per year 2 weeks paid vacation $1,000 mileage reimbursement (for church mileage) Tuition assistance up to $1,200 per year (if desired) Parsonage included Upon prayerful consideration, please send your resume to: msbcyouthpastorsearch@gmail.com.
