Part Time Worship Leader

Green Pines Baptist Church, located in Knightdale, North Carolina, is seeking a Part-Time Worship Leader, a candidate who possesses desirable musical and technological expertise.

Job Description: 
· Works closely with our lead Pastor in cultivating worship services that lead the congregation in a multigenerational experience.
· Responsible for choosing scripture and songs that engage the congregation and support the preaching of God's Word.
· Will also seek out congregants who are passionate about worship by recruiting and training musicians, singers, and technical volunteers.
· Also oversees, manages, and maintains musical, audio, and visual equipment in conjunction with tech volunteers
· Attends regular staff meetings · Oversees and manages a worship budget
· Lead Worship Team Meetings.

Job Qualifications; candidates should display: · A commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life and a knowledge of His Word. · Have a heart for singing the Gospel, loving the local church, and proclaiming the name of Jesus. · Have an appreciation for current music, biblically centered lyrics, and hymns of the church's traditions. · Being musically gifted at (at least one) guitar, piano or keyboard, and vocals is a requirement. · Leadership and people skills are important. · Degree in worship arts, music, or Theology is a plus, but not required.
