Worship Leader

Durham Memorial Baptist Church, Durham, NC is seeking an energetic and responsible individual to serve our church family as part-time Worship Leader.  This Worship Leader is charged with implementing the vision, mission, and values of the church by leading all the details of worship encompassed in our church worship services.  This position would require an approximate 15 hours per week work schedule.  The position will begin around the end of August.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in conjunction with the Pastor and other staff members plan, schedule, prepare and implement worship music for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services as well as special events.  Be capable of leading multiple styles of worship including blended and contemporary including choirs and praise teams.  As time and interest permits, offer direction to age-specific ministries for worship leadership.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation based on experience and work schedule.
